La obra se presenta como un campo geológico en blanco, negro y grises: capas fluidas que se pliegan, se arrastran y se rompen, dejando una superficie saturada de huellas. La estructura se apoya en una tensión central de zonas más oscuras y en varios abanicos de raspado que abren la pintura como si fueran vetas o estratos; no hay un motivo único, sino un “todo” construido por fragmentos que se encajan y se erosionan entre sí. A distancia impacta por densidad y por el contraste de valores; de cerca se lee la materia con claridad: la trama del lienzo aparece atravesando veladuras, el esmalte genera marmoleados y bordes celulares, y la tinta abre cavidades y cortes que hunden el espacio.

El material funciona especialmente bien donde el negro se concentra y el gris se vuelve translúcido, creando profundidad real por superposición. También hay decisiones visibles en ciertos raspados que limpian y revelan capas inferiores

Spirit of the Deep

The work is presented as a geological field in black, white, and shades of gray: fluid layers that fold, drag, and break, leaving a surface saturated with traces. The structure is supported by a central tension of darker areas and several scraped fans that open up the painting as if they were veins or strata; there is no single motif, but rather a “whole” constructed of fragments that fit together and erode each other. From a distance, it is striking for its density and contrast of values; up close, the material can be read clearly: the weave of the canvas appears through glazes, the enamel generates marbling and cellular edges, and the ink opens cavities and cuts that sink into the space.

The material works especially well where black is concentrated and gray becomes translucent, creating real depth through superimposition. There are also visible decisions in certain scrapings that clean and reveal lower layers.

深淵之靈

作品呈現為一片黑白灰交織的地質場域：流動的層次褶皺、蠕動、斷裂，留下滿佈痕跡的飽和表面。結構以中央較暗區域的張力為支撐，並透過多組刮擦形成的扇形紋路，如同礦脈或地層般撕開畫布；此處並無單一主題，而是由相互嵌合、相互侵蝕的碎片構成的「整體」。遠觀時，其密度與明暗對比令人震撼；近觀則能清晰讀取物質本質：畫布紋理穿透透明塗層顯現，琺瑯質地形成大理石紋與細胞邊緣，墨色則開鑿出凹陷空間的空洞與切口。

在黑色濃聚處與灰色轉為半透明處，材質效果尤為出色，透過疊加創造出真實的深度。某些刮擦痕跡亦顯露創作抉擇，既清理又揭示底層紋理。

روح الأعماق

تظهر العمل كحقل جيولوجي باللون الأبيض والأسود والرمادي: طبقات متدفقة تنثني وتزحف وتتكسر، تاركة سطحاً مشبعاً بالآثار. تستند البنية على توتر مركزي في المناطق الأكثر قتامة وعلى عدة مروحات مكشوطة تفتح اللوحة كما لو كانت عروقًا أو طبقات؛ لا يوجد سبب واحد، بل ”كل“ مبني من شظايا تتداخل وتتآكل مع بعضها البعض. من بعيد، يثير العمل الإعجاب بكثافته وتباين قيمه؛ ومن قرب، يمكن قراءة المادة بوضوح: تظهر نسيج اللوحة عبر طبقات من الطلاء، ويولد المينا رخاميات وحواف خلوية، وتفتح الحبر تجاويف وقطعًا تغرق الفضاء.

تعمل المادة بشكل جيد بشكل خاص حيث يتركز اللون الأسود ويصبح الرمادي شفافًا، مما يخلق عمقًا حقيقيًا عن طريق التراكب. هناك أيضًا قرارات مرئية في بعض الكشط الذي ينظف ويكشف الطبقات السفلية.
