La obra se organiza con una estructura clara: un eje vertical central de fragmentos gruesos, quebrados, que funciona como columna y sostiene toda la lectura. Ese “cuerpo” blanco-gris, con grietas y aristas, se superpone a campos terrosos oscuros que actúan como contrapeso y recorte, evitando que el relieve se vuelva mero adorno. Alrededor, un entramado de planos rectangulares insinuados y perforaciones repetidas construye una retícula silenciosa, casi arquitectónica, que da ritmo sin distraer del núcleo.

A distancia, la pieza se impone por jerarquía y contraste de densidades: el centro compacto frente a un fondo más respirado pero activo. De cerca, el interés se sostiene por la calidad del grano, los golpes, las incisiones y la variación de profundidad entre capas; las “placas” con orificios y las marcas lineales aportan una cadencia metódica que dialoga con el accidente controlado de los fragmentos. La paleta restringida (grises, negros, tierras) refuerza la decisión: no hay efectismo cromático, la tensión proviene del material y de la edición. Aporta dentro del abstracto actual por su austeridad bien resuelta y por convertir textura y relieve en una construcción con lógica, no en un exceso.

Meeting

The work is organized with a clear structure: a central vertical axis of thick, broken fragments that functions as a column and supports the entire reading. This white-gray “body,” with cracks and edges, overlaps dark earthy fields that act as a counterweight and outline, preventing the relief from becoming mere ornamentation. Around it, a network of insinuated rectangular planes and repeated perforations constructs a silent, almost architectural grid that provides rhythm without distracting from the core.

From a distance, the piece imposes itself through hierarchy and contrast of densities: the compact center against a more breathable but active background. Up close, interest is sustained by the quality of the grain, the blows, the incisions, and the variation in depth between layers; the “plates” with holes and linear marks provide a methodical cadence that dialogues with the controlled accident of the fragments. The restricted palette (grays, blacks, earth tones) reinforces the decision: there is no chromatic sensationalism, the tension comes from the material and the editing. It contributes to current abstract art through its well-resolved austerity and by turning texture and relief into a logical construction, not an excess.

العمل منظم بهيكل واضح: محور عمودي مركزي من شظايا سميكة ومكسورة، يعمل كعمود ويدعم القراءة بأكملها. هذا ”الجسم“ الأبيض-الرمادي، مع الشقوق والحواف، يتراكب على حقول ترابية داكنة تعمل كقوة موازنة وقص، مما يمنع النقش من أن يصبح مجرد زخرفة. حوله، شبكة من المستويات المستطيلة الملموحة والثقوب المتكررة تبني شبكة صامتة، شبه معمارية، تضفي إيقاعًا دون تشتيت الانتباه عن الجوهر.

من بعيد، تفرض القطعة نفسها من خلال التسلسل الهرمي وتباين الكثافة: المركز المضغوط مقابل خلفية أكثر اتساعًا ولكنها نشطة. عن قرب، يستمر الاهتمام بجودة الحبيبات والضربات والشقوق وتباين العمق بين الطبقات؛ تضفي ”اللوحات“ ذات الثقوب والعلامات الخطية إيقاعًا منهجيًا يتحاور مع الحوادث المتحكم فيها للقطع. تعزز اللوحة المحدودة (الرمادي والأسود والألوان الترابية) القرار: لا يوجد تأثير لوني، والتوتر يأتي من المادة والتحرير. تساهم في التجريد الحالي بفضل بساطتها الجيدة وتحويلها للنسيج والبروز إلى بناء منطقي، وليس إلى إفراط.
