Hay una apuesta clara por la atmósfera: una masa de grises y negros que funciona como umbral, con veladuras que se pisan y se apagan entre sí, como humo húmedo. A distancia, la pieza se lee como un campo denso con zonas de respiración; de cerca aparecen incisiones, raspados y arrastres que revelan capas anteriores y le dan una profundidad real, no solo tonal. La tinta aporta los negros más incisivos y la sensación de hollín; el esmalte, en cambio, deja pieles y bordes que “cicatrizan” el plano y sostienen la idea de tránsito.

Lo mejor está en la coherencia material y en cómo alterna compactación y niebla: hay pasajes donde el gesto está contenido (trabajo por capas, velos, borrados) y otros donde la superficie se abre con arañazos y pequeñas rupturas, evitando el decorativismo.

Entrance to purgatory

There is a clear focus on the atmosphere: a mass of grays and blacks that acts as a threshold, with glazes that overlap and fade into each other, like damp smoke. From a distance, the piece reads as a dense field with areas of breathing space; up close, incisions, scrapes, and smudges appear, revealing previous layers and giving it real depth, not just tonal. The ink provides the most incisive blacks and the sensation of soot; the enamel, on the other hand, leaves skins and edges that “scar” the plane and sustain the idea of transit.

The best thing about it is the material coherence and how it alternates between compaction and fog: there are passages where the gesture is contained (layered work, veils, erasures) and others where the surface opens up with scratches and small breaks, avoiding decorativism.

煉獄之門

作品明顯著重營造氛圍：灰與黑的色塊構成門檻，層層疊加的暈染相互交疊消融，宛如濕潤的煙霧。遠觀此作，宛如一片濃密場域間穿插著呼吸空間；近觀則可見刻痕、刮痕與拖痕，揭露底層紋理，賦予作品真實的深度，而非僅止於色調層次。墨水渲染出最犀利的黑色與煤灰質感；釉料則留下「痂痕」般的皮層與邊緣，在平面上形成過渡意象。

最精彩之處在於材質的連貫性，以及緊密與朦朧的交替運用：有些段落筆觸克制（分層處理、薄紗、擦除），有些則以刮痕與細微裂痕撕開表面，避免流於裝飾性。

هناك رهان واضح على الجو: كتلة من الرمادي والأسود تعمل كعتبة، مع طبقات متداخلة ومتلاشية، مثل الدخان الرطب. من بعيد، تبدو القطعة كحقل كثيف مع مناطق للتنفس؛ ومن قرب تظهر شقوق وكشوطات وخدوش تكشف عن طبقات سابقة وتضفي عليها عمقًا حقيقيًا، وليس فقط لونيًا. يضفي الحبر اللون الأسود الأكثر حدة وإحساسًا بالسخام؛ أما المينا، فيترك جلودًا وحوافًا ”تندب“ السطح وتدعم فكرة الانتقال.

أفضل ما في العمل هو تناسق المواد وكيفية تبديل الضغط والضباب: هناك مقاطع حيث تكون الإيماءة محتواة (العمل بطبقات، حجاب، محو) وأخرى حيث تفتح السطح بخدوش وكسور صغيرة، متجنبة الزخرفة.
