El gran formato funciona como pared erosionada: una acumulación de grises y negros se abre en placas, desgarros y diagonales que dan sensación de fractura y desplazamiento. La mirada avanza por choques de densidad —masas oscuras, velos lechosos y zonas de arrastre— y encuentra acentos fríos (turquesas y verdes) y golpes amarillos que actúan como chispas dentro del campo mineral. Hay profundidad real por estrato: transparencias del esmalte, marmoleados y remolinos, y cortes más secos de tinta que cosen los planos y endurecen el gesto cuando amenaza con disolverse. En los detalles se ve una materia trabajada y reescrita: bordes celulares, “piscinas” y espumas, raspados y reservas donde asoma el soporte, sin incompatibilidad entre medios.

Pause before deciding

The large format functions like an eroded wall: an accumulation of grays and blacks opens up in plates, tears, and diagonals that give a sense of fracture and displacement. The gaze moves forward through clashes of density—dark masses, milky veils, and areas of drag—and finds cold accents (turquoise and green) and yellow strokes that act like sparks within the mineral field. There is real depth per layer: transparencies of enamel, marbling and swirls, and drier cuts of ink that sew the planes together and harden the gesture when it threatens to dissolve. In the details, one sees a material that has been worked and rewritten: cellular edges, “pools” and foams, scrapings and reserves where the support peeks through, without incompatibility between media.
