La obra se construye como un campo de fricción: una masa de grises y negros atravesada por un eje de blancos que se abre en diagonal y por inserciones de azul intenso que funcionan como “costuras” de energía. La jerarquía parece apoyarse en esa cuña clara y en el contraste de temperatura que generan los azules frente a los óxidos y rosados puntuales. Hay decisiones de edición visibles: arrastres amplios, raspados y una retícula irregular que interrumpe el gesto y evita que todo derive a neblina decorativa. De cerca, la superficie recompensa con estratos superpuestos, zonas opacas y veladuras, marcas de barrido y acumulaciones que dejan ver el grano del soporte; también aparecen bordes rotos y pequeñas fisuras en áreas claras que aportan tensión material.

Mercury between the eternal and the earthly

The work is constructed as a field of friction: a mass of grays and blacks crossed by a diagonal axis of whites and insertions of intense blue that function as “seams” of energy. The hierarchy seems to rest on this clear wedge and on the contrast in temperature generated by the blues against the oxides and occasional pinks. There are visible editing decisions: broad drags, scrapings, and an irregular grid that interrupts the gesture and prevents everything from drifting into decorative haze. Up close, the surface rewards with overlapping layers, opaque areas and glazes, sweeping marks and accumulations that reveal the grain of the support; there are also broken edges and small cracks in light areas that add material tension.

作品構建為一個摩擦場：灰色與黑色塊面中，一條白色軸線斜向貫穿，深藍色插入物則如能量「縫線」般點綴其間。層次結構似乎依賴於這道明亮的楔形，以及藍色與局部氧化色及粉紅色調所形成的溫度對比。可見的修飾痕跡：寬幅拖曳、刮擦痕跡與不規則網格，中斷了筆觸的流暢性，避免整體淪為裝飾性迷霧。近觀時，表面呈現層疊的疊加效果，不透明區域與薄塗層、掃掠痕跡與堆積物，皆顯露出基底的紋理；明亮區域還出現斷裂邊緣與細微裂痕，增添物質張力。

الزئبق بين الأبدي والأرضي

تتكون العمل الفني كحقل احتكاك: كتلة من اللونين الرمادي والأسود يقطعها محور من اللون الأبيض يمتد قطريًا وإدخالات من اللون الأزرق الغامق تعمل كـ”درزات“ من الطاقة. يبدو أن التسلسل الهرمي يعتمد على هذا الوتد الفاتح والتباين في درجة الحرارة الذي يولده اللون الأزرق مقابل الأكسيدات والورديات المتفرقة. هناك قرارات تحريرية واضحة: سحب واسع، كشط وشبكة غير منتظمة تقطع الحركة وتمنع كل شيء من أن يتحول إلى ضباب زخرفي. عن قرب، تكافئ السطح بطبقات متراكبة، مناطق معتمة وشفافية، علامات مسح وتراكمات تظهر حبيبات الدعم؛ تظهر أيضًا حواف مكسورة وشقوق صغيرة في المناطق الفاتحة تضفي توترًا ماديًا.
