From a distance, the reading is sustained by contrast and gravity: the lower half concentrates the weight with a darker, denser knot, while the upper area breathes a little more, allowing cool blues and transparencies to appear that lighten the whole. The gaze moves along soft diagonals and traces of drips and splashes, with a constellation of white dots punctuating the plane without turning it into mere decoration.

The details confirm the material craftsmanship: overlapping layers, stains that open up into irregular edges, areas of black “pools” with broken whites on top, small milky reserves, and fine ink strokes that sew fragments together. There is real depth per layer and a complex texture that rewards close inspection, with changes in opacity and visible rewritings.
